Her father, John Cox, is a millionaire mill owner and not friendly to the Guard. Paul Dunbar, who works for John Cox, pursues Muriel. One of Cox's manufacturing rivals seeks to ruin his business, and enlists Dunbar in the scheme. The mill workers go on strike, while Captain Bob is held in prison for assaulting Dunbar. Muriel seeks to get Captain Bob released from jail.
